Plot: While waiting to pay a visit to a friend in the hospital for whose death he blames himself, Muskrat meets a strange man who tries to get him to see the world in a different way through playing a very unusual version of chess.
This play is wedged uncomfortably between a comedy and a drama, and as such it’s hard to really place what I think of it. Many people like it, but nearly all of these people think it’s just a drama, so what do they know? It has some very interesting dialogue, some funny moments, and some tender moments. I bet there’s even a message in there somewhere, for those that are foolish enough to look for it.
