Everyguy

Plot: After a miserable date and swearing off women, Everyguy meets Enigma and is smitten. Between conversations with his psychiatrist Observation, The Devil, and Enigma herself, Everyguy finds that love is more confusing than anyone ever thought.

This full-length morality play is the only piece of finished theater I’ve written about my life and actual views of mine; typically I prefer to write from imagination. However, this was for an assignment in my playwriting class (we had to write a one-act), and I liked this piece so much I made a full length out of it. Prometheus fans may remember something similar to this, because I stole the idea of allegorical characters from our movie. Easily the most marketable play I’ve written, this also contains my second favorite character of all time (Orbit) and some pretty heartfelt dialogue. It has a special place in my heart, even if I don’t believe all of it anymore.
