Basket in the Sky
Date: ~2004
Location: Newton, PA
Description: I was very against digital cameras for a long time, and it was best illustrated when a friend showed me a digital picture of a cat having taken a crap on her bed. In the old days before unlimited pictures, you got 24, and you had to make them count – you couldn’t waste them on feline feces. This was one of the last ones I took with a disposable camera – and I took two just in case. This one came out better, and I even like the grainy antiquated feel the cardboard boxed camera gives. This is at Tyler State Park, one of my favorite courses, and the home of my first ever 1000 rated round. This one goes out to Bigs and his family.

Will in a Cage
Date: summer, 1996
Location: Oakland, NJ
Description: In honor of Will’s most recent Theme-mail, a truly bizarre epistle, I present you with a photo that needs no detailed description. I believe we were at Phil Rizzuto’s house (I’m sure Christine has still not warmed up to that nickname), and Will climbed into this cage for the photo. That’s one fine dressed bitch.

Buncha Ladies in Bed
Date: December 31, 2001 (?)
Location: ???
Description: I had originally selected this picture so I could brag about getting four ladies in bed. Or maybe I’d make self-deprecating comments about myself like I did here. Who knows? It actually tied in nicely because I was able to see a number of these ladies this past weekend at Shalon and Pierz’ wedding (Shalon in the one in the middle.) Now, there are a total of 4 wedding rings among the people in this picture, and 6 kids (with one on the way.) We all grow up too fast. So maybe I will make this about how I managed to get four ladies in bed. Go me.
So many know about my airplane issues – flight canceled, got a new set of flights (3) to Hartford, those were delayed, got in at 2 am. That’s all fine and dandy. Usually my luck with airplanes is pretty good, so I won’t complain.
I’m in 2nd in my tournament after the first day, so all I need is a good night’s sleep, right? Dave’s buddy Gary offered us his place (very kindly). So we get in and I’m in bed before 11. SCORE.
And then at 4am, all Gary’s smoke detectors start going off. For over an hour. Those things are very loud.
Well, at least I am up and at ‘em early.
